We operate on the following principles:

We believe that all people regardless of race, creed, religion, national origin; regardless of condition at birth; regardless of physical and/or mental capacity, should be afforded the basic right of human dignity and freedom; and, that services should be offered in the least restrictive and most normalizing environment, as is feasible, considering the person’s disability.

Developmental disabilities result in substantial limitations in three or more major life capabilities such as: capacity for independent living, economic self-sufficiency, learning, mobility, receptive and expressive language, self-care, or self-direction. Regardless of one’s background, stage of development, age, or time restrictions, it is our purpose to provide each person with the opportunity to achieve a more positive way of life through normalizing their day-to-day life experiences.
